Welcome to the website of Traditional Canalware by Martin Toennigs.  Here you will find a large and varied selection of decorative Canalware based upon the principles laid down by the Boatmen of the 19th Century. 

Under the tutelage of John Hill ( author of 'Stem To Stern' ) Martin has developed his technique over 20 years enabling him to lovingly produce the items on this website.
